A walk in Stuttgart is worthwhile at any time of the year. The state capital of Baden‐Württemberg offers a lot of culture, a varied natural landscape and a wide range of leisure activities. From the train station walk along the Königsstraße, a pedestrian zone, with the beautiful Palastplatz, the largest square in the city center. This is a square for recreation, concerts and Christmas markets. Opposite the castle stands the Königsbau which has been modernized into a shopping center. Directly opposite is the Stuttgart Art Museum, a spectacular glass structure with a collection of German modern art and a light show in the evening. Also worth seeing, are the town hall decorated with murals, the collegiate church, the fruit box, a stone building in Gothic style and the Ministry of Justice.

To the delight of residents and tourists, the Stuttgart Spring Festival returns to the Cannstatter Wasen in 2022 as the "Spring Festival light". The Stuttgart Wine Village also takes place every year from the end of August to the beginning of September. Around 120 decorated vine arbors stretch out from the market square during these celebratory days. The Swabian cuisine offers specialties such as Maultaschen, onion roast and apple cakes for those with a sweet tooth. In addition to the traditional restaurants serving hearty food such as the Weinstube am Stadtgraben and Carls Brauhaus, there are many new international flavors to try out like bowls and ramen.
