The United Nations defined 17 goals for sustainable development in its 2030 Agenda.

The 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a global plan to promote sustainable peace and prosperity and to protect our planet. The goals should enable a decent life and preserve the natural foundations of life.
