"On June 22nd - the first day of summer with an outside temperature of 32°C - the second Ghezzo Real Estate Day took place in the Office Park of Vienna Airport. More than 150 participants on site and 443 viewers of the online stream came together for networking, inspiration and exchange. We can only overcome challenges and rapid changes together - this was exactly the motto of the Ghezzo Real Estate Day.
On the topic of "Working environments: theory and practice - what employees expect and companies can afford", our CTO Christian Ehl discussed the future of the office world together with other industry experts.
Home offices are here to stay, the experts are sure of that. But what about space requirements? Andreas Ridder from CBRE sums it up like this: "To make offices more attractive, more space is needed per employee, and with an increasing proportion of home offices, less space is needed. This can only be achieved by making the space more flexible. The office world as it is now will be phased out, but there needs to be space for exchange." Decentralised hubs, platforms for shared spaces and modern infrastructure [...]"
